Legends of Washington Bluegrass
Dale Williams

Many have said that Dale Williams was knee high to a grasshopper when he first took up the banjo. Many have said that if he was to smile his teeth would break. Some would ask where he learned the gazillions of licks he pours out. He started playing with the Fabulous Palmer Sisters when he was 13. That was years ago. This is an old, old picture. He is very much older and far more haggard and wrinkled now. Probably from his years on the road with Kenny Baker and Josh Graves. He used to go and get them beer and smokes with a fake ID. No $#!+.
Be it Bela, Earl, or anything in between, Dale Williams is a banjo players banjo player. It says so on his license plate.
