ROD BACKMAN

Rod Backman is a bass player from Idaho who has been in just about every band and sideshow in the Pacific Washington for the last 45 years. His steady rythm, hot (pork) chops, and overall congenial demeanor have made him a steadfast favorite with music lovers from many genres.

Abandoned by his parents at a roadside park in Texas, Rod was raised by Armadillos. He's spent a good deal of his road time broken down in truck stops where he panhandles for days to make needed car repairs. Rod is a verified descendant of Screamin' Jay Hawkins.
